After purchasing a pack of HC-SR04 sonars, I wanted a simple project to learn how to use them so created an electronic measuring tool. This lets you switch between microseconds, inches, and centimeters for measuring distances.
One of the more iconic parts of a robot is the mechanical arm. This is my early attempts at building one.
A horse-racing game turned into a pony racing game for my nieces. Each player has to alternate between pushing two buttons to run. An adjustable AI is available for solo play.
I have taken electronics and robotics courses to gain a better understanding of embedded computing, not to build a robot army to take over the earth. Not sure why anybody would think I would want to do that. While I hope that there is more time in the future for my experiments with building robots and other electronic devices, it is something that is currently on the backburner. I do wand to build some real robots in the future.
The projects on this page are built with the Arduino, though I have been looking at the Raspberry Pi and may do something with that in the future.
Each of the projects on this page has the circuit diagram and downloadable source code if you are interested in building the project.
